I concur with John Newton who was noted as saying, “I remember two things very clearly: I am a great sinner and Christ is a great Savior.” This is certainly true of my life when the Lord saved me and graciously allowed me to join the Elder Council as the Lead Pastor of Grace Church of Ovilla in March of 2023.

By God’s grace, my education is comprised of a Bachelor’s degree in history from the University of North Texas, a Master of Education from the University of Houston, a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Philosophy in North American Missiology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Before coming to Grace Church, I served as the Associate Minister at Believers Chapel in Dallas and as the Lead Pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Previously, I worked for twelve years in education as a teacher, coach, and administrator. I have been married to Rebekah since 2000 and we have one daughter, Kourtnie.

As a believer in Christ, I seek to live out the Great Commandment (Mk. 12:30-31a) and the Great Commission (Mt. 28:19-20).
